CHOSEN 2023

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Hello, Woman of Purpose,

I’m glad you were able to make it here. The Women of Purpose Conference is an annual time of refreshing, renewal, and refocus for women of all ages. It is a conference designed for women who love God, as well as women who desire to know and pursue their God-given purpose here on earth.

The theme for this year’s conference is CHOSEN, inspired by 1 Peter 2:9 - 10.

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” (1 Peter 2: 9 - 10).

Hey sis, you were God’s intention in every way. "Chosen", in this scripture, means a very personal choice and that’s what God calls you. God has called you and chosen you specially for His purpose and callings. In this conference, I believe the Lord wants to move you deeper into His calling and purpose. There will be various panel discussions, sessions, and speakers who will minister to you in this regard, and my prayer is that you’ll be activated and forever changed as you encounter His power and presence at this conference.

Please don’t miss it. I'm looking forward to seeing you there as we all meet to encounter our father.

In Christ’s love,

Pst. Bimbola Lawore.

Her goal is to enhance the natural beauty they already have within by adding her little spice. As a Nigerian-American, growing up in Nigeria it was customary to get your hair done every Sunday and subconsciously I picked up the skill of braiding. After moving back to the States, she decided one day to do her own hair. After doing her own hair for a few years, people started asking about her hair whether she can also do theirs. One yes a few years ago has led to the business she has today. She never imagined that it would be a full-time job, Kemi says “ but once God has called you to something who am I to say no?” Although a fulfilling journey, it has also been a challenging one. But one that God has been with her throughout. Kemi says “He has taught me peace during the storm, joy when I had nothing to be joyful about, he has given me the boldness to take certain steps I never would have taken by myself, and has surrounded me with an amazing community of people. I still have a long way to go but God is actively working everything for my good and in his authority for MIDA (Made In Divine Authority) Hair”.
